PRISIONEROS DE DACHAU SE ACERCAN A SAN JOSÉ

En la primavera de 1945, prisioneros del Campo de ConcentraciĂłn de Dachau sintieron que la victoria aliada en la Segunda Guerra Mundial era inminente, pero tambiĂ©n creĂan que los Nazis no los dejarĂan salir vivos del campo. El 14 de abril, comenzaron una novena y le entregaron su seguridad a san JosĂ© de Kalisz. Sin que lo supieran, el mismo dĂa, Heinrich Himmler firmĂł una orden para la ejecuciĂłn de todos los prisioneros de Dachau. Nueve dĂas despuĂ©s, más de 800 prisioneros se consagraron a san JosĂ©. Dachau fue liberado por tropas aliadas el 29 de abril, solo horas antes de la orden de Himmler. Szyson Czyszek, cuyo abuelo fue uno de esos prisioneros rescatados ese dĂa, reflexiona sobre el poder de san JosĂ© como intercesor y modelo a seguir.
