1,000 Coats for Kids in Nebraska! On November 12, 2016 the Nebraska Knights of Columbus provided over 1,000 new coats to youth in need throughout the city. With the distribution falling on the date of a Husker football home game, the Knights created a tailgate experience for the youth and their families, as former NFL player Chris Bober and the 1972 Heisman Trophy Winner Johnny Rodgers, helped distribute the coats. Knights Provide Aid to Victims of Canadian Wildfires

In spring 2023, devasting wildfires raged across Canada, engulfing millions of acres of forests. In response, the Supreme Council provided gift cards and $50,000 in aid to remote communities in Northern Alberta and the Northwest Territories. State Deputy Gaston Launière drove over 1,500 km through the Canadian north to deliver that aid. Natural disasters, like the Canadian wildfires, can happen anytime and anywhere.
