The Guadalupe Celebration was held on Sunday, August 5th, 2012 at the historic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and was free to all attendees. The event featured inspirational speakers, sensational music, and reverent prayer, all in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Speakers included Archbishop José Gómez of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Carl Anderson, Supreme Knight of the Knights of Columbus, and Monsignor Eduardo Chávez, Postulator for the Cause for Canonization of St. Juan Diego.

Lori of Baltimore visited Mother Mary Lange Catholic School, the first school opened by the archdiocese in half a century.
