PRISIONEROS DE DACHAU SE ACERCAN A SAN JOSÉ

En la primavera de 1945, prisioneros del Campo de Concentración de Dachau sintieron que la victoria aliada en la Segunda Guerra Mundial era inminente, pero también creían que los Nazis no los dejarían salir vivos del campo. El 14 de abril, comenzaron una novena y le entregaron su seguridad a san José de Kalisz. Sin que lo supieran, el mismo día, Heinrich Himmler firmó una orden para la ejecución de todos los prisioneros de Dachau. Nueve días después, más de 800 prisioneros se consagraron a san José. Dachau fue liberado por tropas aliadas el 29 de abril, solo horas antes de la orden de Himmler. Szyson Czyszek, cuyo abuelo fue uno de esos prisioneros rescatados ese día, reflexiona sobre el poder de san José como intercesor y modelo a seguir.
