Members of St. Benedict Council 12290 in Anchorage handed out almost 500 coats to kids in need at a back-to-school event organized by the city’s police department. Since it began in 2009, Coats for Kids has provided nearly 1 million warm winter coats to families across the United States, Canada, and around the world.
