More than two decades ago, in February 2001, the Knights of Columbus was solemnly consecrated to Our Lady of Guadalupe. In this episode of KnightCast, host Jonathan Reyes speaks with Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly about the Board of Director’s recent pilgrimage to Mexico City to renew this consecration of the Order to Our Lady. There, in the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, he reconsecrated the Order to Our Lady, exactly 22 years after the initial consecration took place. ● The Supreme Knight also talks about the launch of the Knights 150 strategic plan. This road map allows the Order to think about its priorities over the next decade, leading up to the 150th Anniversary of the Knights of Columbus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76V0RJj3-DM&t=5m53s ● Tim Saccoccia, vice president of public policy for the Knights of Columbus, discusses the Order’s latest Marist poll showing that nearly 7 out of 10 Americans support substantial restrictions on abortion.
