Walking in the Footsteps of St. Junipero Serra – Christian Clifford
0:00
After becoming a teacher at St. Junipero Serra High School, Christian Clifford wanted to better understand the institution’s patron saint. His initiative blossomed into an opportunity for spiritual growth and culminated with a 45-day, 800-mile walk along the California Missions Trail from San Diego to Sonoma. His pilgrimage included engaging local communities on the story of St. Junipero Serra and raising funds for the Mission San Antonio de Padua. Supported by both his family and his Brother Knights, Christian’s journey gave him a special appreciation for the beloved saint, and a deeper foundation in his faith.
