Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly encourages all Knights of Columbus to join him at the national March for Life in Washington, D.C., on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, the first since the reversal of Roe v. Wade. At the same time, he urges Knights to redouble their work at the local level, supporting pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes, and participating in state pro-life marches. “We now have a chance to win the fight for life,” the supreme knight said. “We can and we must make abortion a thing of the past. Let’s move forward together toward a future of life.” For more information, visit kofc.org/march. On June 24, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld a Mississippi law banning abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy, concurrently overturning Roe v. Wade, the landmark ruling that legalized abortion nationwide nearly 50 years ago. The Knights of Columbus is now strengthening its support for pregnancy resources centers and maternity homes through ASAP, a new pro-life initiative announced earlier this month.
